I'm a California native who wound up in Florida via Hawaii and other adventures. I'm currently living in Deland, Florida. As a musician I have formally studied classical and Hawaiian music, and have extensive experience with jazz and The Great American Songbook. My current study focus is Freddie Green whose playing style had been a major influence on my own approach to guitar. Art and music are journeys without final destinations, and Mr. Green is my chosen path. In addition to vocals and guitar I also play harp (harmonica) and various percussion instruments. I've performed and recorded extensively as a musician, and am a founding member of Indigo Moods. Here is a YouTube Playlist that contains some samples of our live performances. Examples of my recorded work can be heard on this album from 2000 in which I was lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist: WUCF FM 89.9 (Winter Park, FL) broadcast. |
![]() Art is another of my life-long pursuits. There is a unified thread that connects my love of visual arts with my aural expression of art through music: creativity. While this page is more focused on my music, you may want to check out these two brief videos on YouTube that feature me as an artist. |
